New NPC Chairman Pledges Credible, Technology-Driven National Census
The new Chairman of the National Population Commission, Dr. Aminu Yusuf, has pledged to deliver a credible, transparent and technology-driven national census.
Assuming office at the NPC headquarters in Abuja, Dr. Yusuf said the Commission is entering “a new chapter defined by purpose, integrity and national renewal.”
He reiterated the Commission’s commitment to conducting a fully digital, biometrically verifiable census, supported by robust post-enumeration surveys, efficient logistics and international-standard quality assurance.
The NPC Chairman also unveiled a seven-point agenda aimed at repositioning the Commission as a modern and globally competitive institutions.
