The Nigeria Export Promotion Council has official launch the NEPC’s Export Mentorship Programme as well as issued Certificates To Mentees.
Speaking at the occasion in Abuja, the new NEPC Executive Director, Nonye Ayeni, said Export Mentorship Programme is a well thought out strategy where budding exporters are attached to established manufacturing exporters for an agreed period for the purpose of learning the rudiments of non-oil export business.
The Executive Director said, the idea was borne out of need to enhance the performance of Nigeria’s non-oil export sector through provision of veritable platform for learning, unlearning, and relearning of new exporters from the established ones in a practical manner.
She however, assured the mentee that NEPC’s commitment to diversify Nigeria’s export trade for the economic growth and development of the nation.
