NCPC to Partner with Christian Tour Operators to Boost Pilgrimage Initiatives

The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Bishop Stephen Adegbite has announced plans by the Commission to collaborate with reputable Christian tour operators seeking to promote and support the cause of Christian pilgrimage.

Bishop Adegbite Made this known when he received in audience the Chief Executive Officer of Simba Tours and Travel Ethiopia, Woubeshet Alemayehu at the Commission headquarters in Abuja.

The cleric noted that Ethiopia is home to numerous revered Christian sites and historic churches, which the NCPC is keen to explore as potential pilgrimage destinations.

Adegbite who confirmed to have personally visited Ethiopia, can attest to the depth of its Christian heritage.

In his remarks, Mr. Alemayehu said Simba Tours and Travel is eager to partner with NCPC as the official ground handler for Nigerian Christian pilgrims in Ethiopia. He emphasized that the company works closely with its Nigerian partner, Obamark World Travels which serves as its official representative for pilgrimage-related tours.

The Simba Tours CEO highlighted that both firms have successfully organized familiarization tours for senior Nigerian Christian leaders and high level delegations to prominent religious and historical sites across Ethiopia, including Lalibela, Gondar and Addis Ababa.

Mr. Alemayehu was accompanied on the visit by Solomon Nwachukwu, CEO of Obamark World Travels.
