Peace may have returned to the fold of the National Association of Nigerian students, as Comrade Atiku Abubakar Isah,a former factional leader has agreed to work with the NANS President, Comrade Oladoja in repositioning the Association and fighting for the welfare of Nigerian students.
Speaking at a joint news conference in Abuja, Isah who endorsed Comrade Olusola Oladoja as the authentic President of NANS, expressed willingness to join forces with him to chart a new path for the progress of the Association.
According to him, there was no need to divide NANS with protracted leadership crisis, while the interest and welfare of students that should be protected suffer for it.
Meanwhile, elated President of NANS, commended Comrade Isah for the decision to work and support his vision for the Nigerian students.
The NANS president affirmed that going forward, Nigerian students will speak with one voice as issues related to internal misgivings in the association have been put to rest.
