The Edo state government has given its backing to a successful hosting of the 2019 National Festival of Arts and Culture(NAFEST) slated for Benin, the State capital. Governor Godwin Obaseki gave the assurance during a World Press Conference organised at the instance of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC) to flag off publicity campaign for the 2019 edition of NAFEST. Represented by the state Commissioner for Arts, Culture, Tourism and Diaspora Affairs, Osaze Osemwegie-Ero, the Governor said the South South State is prepared to take on the responsibility of hosting one of the best ever art and culture festival in the world.
