JAMB Conducts Promotion Examination For Directorate Cadre Staff of Federal Civil Service Commission
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has successfully conducted a promotion examination for 6,000 Directorate cadre staff of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) in Abuja.
Speaking with journalists during the exercise, the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the examination, which was held across 10 centres nationwide.
Prof. Oloyede commended the leadership of the Federal Civil Service Commission for upholding transparency and integrity by insisting on a credible, technology-driven examination process for senior civil servants.

Also speaking, the Commissioner representing the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Niger State in the Commission, Dr. Hussaini Adamu, lauded the participants for their commendable performance, disclosing that about 1,500 candidates were assessed in three sessions during the exercise.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Federal Civil Service Commission, Prof. Adetunji Olaopa, noted that the exercise marks the first time the Commission is adopting the Computer-Based Test (CBT) method for its promotion examinations.

In a bid to ensure inclusivity, the CBT examination was also conducted for eligible candidates residing in the United Kingdom, United States, India, and Egypt.
