A group under the aegis of Aspire Women And Youths Advancement Initiative has made case for empowerment of women and youths with skills and opportunities to achieve economic independence.
Executive Director of the Initiative, Grace Fagbemi made the call at the launch of the Organization in Abuja.
Stating that the initiative aims to empower the next generation of leaders expected to drive positive change in their communities, Fagbemi said it will further enhance sustainable development in Nigeria.
Fagbemi further indicated how women and youths from across the country would benefit from the empowerment programme.
On her part, the Keynote Speaker at the event, Esther Ijeaku highlighted the need for Youths in the country to acquire entrepreneurial skills that will help them overcome the contemporary economic challenges in Nigeria.
Key emphasis of the Aspire Women And Youth Advancement Initiative aims at transforming lives, empowering women and youths and fostering sustainable development across Africa.
