FRSC Declares War On Corruption In Nationwide ‘Integrity Drive’

16

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has launched a comprehensive nationwide integrity drive aimed at sanitizing its operational culture and reinforcing ethical service delivery across all formations.

The initiative, directed by Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed, aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda,” which emphasizes discipline and a firm stance against corruption within the Nigerian public service.

On March 3, 2026, members of the Corps Management held simultaneous strategic engagements with officers and men at commands across the country.

According to a statement signed by Assistant Corps Marshal Olusegun Ogungbemide, the Corps Public Education Officer, the exercise serves as a critical pillar in the Corps Marshal’s ongoing reform agenda to reposition the FRSC as a model institution built on accountability and public trust.

During the sessions, personnel were issued a clear directive: the “era of mediocrity” is over. Management charged officers to uphold a zero-tolerance policy regarding corruption and to recommit to the highest standards of operational excellence.

”The mandate of the Federal Road Safety Corps goes beyond enforcement; it is about protecting lives and serving the Nigerian public with honor, transparency, and accountability,” the leadership emphasized during the engagements.

The drive highlights a shift toward institutional renewal under Shehu Mohammed’s leadership, prioritizing professionalism and efficiency as the bedrock of the agency’s life-saving mandate.

By reinforcing a culture where integrity is non-negotiable, the FRSC aims to restore public confidence and ensure safer road use for all Nigerians.

The FRSC Management reiterated its commitment to these reforms, assuring the motoring public that the Corps will continue to strengthen its operations to deliver improved service to the nation.
