The Spokesperson, Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kimiebi Ebienfa disclosed this at a news conference to warned Nigerians against fake information making the rounds that the Minister, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar is recruiting Foreign Service Officers.
He said involvement of the DSS and other security agencies will help to uncovered those behind the dastardly act of extorting Nigerians as well as dragging the nation’s image in the mud
Mr Ebienfa insists that the recruitment information is not just fake but misleading as the only body mandated with such responsibility is the Federal Civil Service Commission.
The Ministry’s spokesperson also called on Nigerians not to make any payment, as Foreign Service Officers after completing the mandatory course and induction exercises in the Foreign Service Academy are given all the necessary documents including diplomatic passports for free.
He however, advised Nigerians to be vigilant at all times as well as always verify key information from the ministry before taking steps in order not to fall prey to job scammers.
