FG Vows To End Nigerians’ Humiliation Abroad – Amb. Tuggar
The Federal Government says, it will no longer tolerate or watch its citizens in the diaspora being humiliated by any country.
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador, Yusuf Tuggar, disclosed this at the 2025 Ministerial Press Briefing in Abuja while reading his briefs entitled “From Passive To Active Global Engagement Under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Leadership.”
He said, Nigeria apart from taking the bold steps to protect the dignity and integrity of its citizens abroad, has boosted the nation’s foreign policy by increasing confidence in the Nigerian Passport.
The Minister also spoke on other sundry achievement of the ministry through its 4Ds policy drive.
Ambassador Tuggar also noted that Nigeria played a crucial diplomatic role in facilitating the evacuation of infants and babies from war-torn Gaza to hospitals in Jordan, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for urgent medical care.
He added that the Red Cross however, approached Nigeria for assistance thereafter to resettle the children, many of whom conditions were critical.
