That clattering sound by the earth moving machine also know in some quarter as bulldozer signify the official commencement of community roads construction and rehabilitation project by Dunamis International Gospel Centre, DIGC, Karu-Jikwoyi, Abuja. The road project which is aimed at alleviating the suffering of the host community especially during raining season will cost the church millions of naira to get it done. Speaking at the epoch making event, the Resident Pastor, Usman Yakubu said the church decided to embark on the massive project as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility exercise to the people. The Chief of Jikwoyi, His Royal Highness, Bawa Jetta who graced the occasion described the church and its love for charity work in this flowery language. Some Jikwoyi residents also spoke at the ground breaking ceremony. It was the turn of the road Construction Engineer, Austin Azodor to share his professional opinion. It is expected that the community road construction and rehabilitation project by DIGC Karu-Jikwoyi will be completed within fifty two days.
