A Coalition of civil society organizations, CSOs, has commended Engr. Farouk Ahmed,Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority, praising his exceptional leadership and reforms in the petroleum sector.
The National Convener of the group, Igwe Ude Umanta made this known at a media conference held in Abuja.
He said, the NMDPRA boss has stabilize the midstream and downstream sector of the petroleum industry, ensuring energy security and promoting economic growth.
The Coalition highlighted some of the agency’s achievements describing the feat as the best of its kind in Africa for gas trading.
The coalition which consists of 22 civil society organizations at the end of the meeting passed a vote of confidence in the NMDPRA leadership.
