The 2024 annual conference of the Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria, CIPMN, brought together people from all works of life.
The conference with the theme “Project Management: The Universal Language Of Success” was a three in one package which include induction and Annual General Meeting.
Speaking at the induction ceremony of new members in Abuja, the Registrar, Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria, CIPMN, Henry Mbadiwe said over five hundred members were certified, licensed, and inducted bringing the total number of members to over 1,000 in just two years of his leadership.
He however, called on heads of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to encourage project managers at all levels as the institute aims to boost its members to about five thousand in 2026.
It would be recalled that CIPMN issued a threat recently to ban unlicensed foreigners and indigenous individuals, corporate organisations and institutions from managing projects in the country without requisite documentation from January 2025.
