Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has extended Christmas goodwill to Christians across the state, describing the celebration of the Nativity as a solemn reminder of selfless love, meekness, and devotion to the service of humanity.
In a message issued through his Special Adviser on Media, Hon. Ismaila Isah, the governor reflected on the spiritual significance of the season, noting that the birth of Jesus Christ calls on believers to embrace patience, forbearance, goodwill, and other virtues that promote harmony and peaceful coexistence.
Governor Ododo said the enduring lessons of Christmas remain crucial to the growth and development of Kogi State, urging citizens to uphold the spirit of brotherhood, restraint, and collective responsibility as foundations for lasting peace and progress.
He added that his administration is guided by these timeless values in its pursuit of good governance, public order, and sustainable development, driven by inclusive policies aimed at improving the well being of the people.
