The President, Nigeria Volleyball Federation, Engr. Musa Nimrod has assured volleyball fans in the the country and the Federal Capital Territory of more local competitions as a way of promoting the sport as well as discover fresh talents for clubs and the National team. He made this known after Life Camp Volleyball female team emerged champions for the female category and Nile University team for the male. He said despite scarcity of fund, the federation has been doing all it could to ensure that talents are discovered and properly harness Stakeholders including the former Minister of Sports Engr. Sani Ndanusa who expressed delight with the quality of the competition urged volleyball administrators to come to the aid of the sport. High point of the event was the presentation of awards to the Minister of Youths and Sports Development Sunday Dare and some Dignitaries.
