The Mandate Secretary, FCT Women Affairs, Dr. Adebayo Benjamin-Laniyi, has called on women to be more intentional, visible, and proactive in their careers.
She made the call at a two day Women in Oil and Gas programme organised by the PENGASSAN Women Commission, which brought together participants from across the country.
The event, themed “The Dynamic Woman: Shaping Tomorrow Influence, Impact, Legacy,” focused on mentorship, networking, and equipping women with knowledge of global industry trends.
Benjamin-Laniyi urged participants not to use union membership as an excuse for complacency, but to remain productive and committed in their workplaces.
Participants at the event say the programme has equipped them with practical knowledge and inspiration to drive change.
