Fifty One terrorists have so far been killed by the Nigerian Military in its joint operation code name, Operation Hadin Kai in the last fourteen days. The troop also arrested nineteen of them with large cache of arms and ammunition in the period under review. Giving an update on various operations embark by the military to tackle insecurity in the country, the Acting Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General, Bernard Onyeuko said the terrorists were killed in Borno and Adamawa states in a coordinated land and air raid. He said the troops also eliminated thirty three armed bandits in their hideouts in Sokoto and Zamfara states. The activities of economic saboteurs, oil bunkering and pipeline vandalism among other crimes in the south south region was also put to check by troops of Operation Delta Safe. He however, commended sister security agencies for their involvement in the diverse operations across the country for their resilience, doggedness and commitment.
