The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has been advised to prioritise, sustain the collection of Permanent Voters Card, PVCs for People With Disabilities, PWDs across collection centres in the country.
The Executive Director, Inclusive Friends Association, Grace Jerry who made the call at a news conference in Abuja expressed dismay over the situations where PWDs could not get their PVCs due to delays in printing in some states despite the election being few weeks away.
She however, applauded INEC for demonstrating inclusivity by providing and implementing priority collection for PWDs.
The Inclusive Friends Executive Director also urged Nigerians to take advantage of the ward level distribution to get their PVCs.
The body further appealed to the electoral umpire to ensure that unprinted PVC are speedily printed to avoid disenfranchising electorates from participating in the forthcoming coming general elections.
