This is a gathering of friends and associates of the 1st Executive Governor of Kaduna State Kaduna State, Alhaji Balarabe Musa who passed away on November 11, 2020.
They are celebrating the life time of the late politician as captured in a book titled, the Last man standing authored by Kevin Chrisantus.
Former Governor Balarabe Musa in his life time had a clear believe in an ideology that tended towards service and probity regarding his simple lifestyle.
Born on August 21 1936 in Kaduna State, Alhaji Musa was a man who walked the talk and eventually became the voice of reason on critical matters of state.
Reflecting on his lifetime, the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State Dr Hadiza Balarabe said the late politician lived a life worthy of emulation by present serving politicians.
Represented by Prof Kabiru Mato, the Deputy Governor highlighted how as a young politician,Alhaji Musa selflessly impacted the lives of the people of the crocodile state.
Other speakers at the book launch and memorial event spoke high of the late politician, saying his memory will continue to linger in the nations political landscape.
Author of the book, Kevin Chrisanthus on his part, said he titled the series, the Last man standing because of the outstanding personality of late Balarabe Musa who stood for what is right for over 60 years till his demise.
Late Alhaji Musa until his death was a chieftain of the Peoples Redemption Party and contested the 2003 presidential election on the platform of the party.
