PDP Crisis: Party BOT Seeks Ways To Resolve Grievances.

National Chairman of the People’s Democratic party, Uche Secondus may have heave a sign of relief following the intervention of the party’s Board of Trustees in the leadership crisis rocking the opposition party. This is inview of an emergency meeting convened by the BOT members held at the PDP National Secretariat,Abuja. Addressing the gathering, the BoT chairman, Senator Walid Jibrin cautioned the party’s leaders to do away with personal interest that may likely jeopardize the chances of the party winning the 2023 presidential Election in the country. He advised aggrieved members to allow peace to reign especially as the party is at the verge of conducting it’s national convention. In his remarks, embattled National chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus advised the party organs to resist the temptation of changing the current leadership saying that it portends a great danger ahead the 2023 elections. It is alleged that Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike who made a surprised appearance at the meeting is behind plot to remove Secondus from office. The party’s big weights which attended the a meeting at the PDP’s National Secretariat in Abuja include former Senate Presidents, David Mark, Adolphus Wagbara, Bukola Saraki, Senator Abdul Ningi, among others
