The Federal Government has extended the administration of the second dose of Covid 19 vaccine to 5th July, 2021. The Executive Director, National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr Faisal Shuaib who disclosed this at a press conference in Abuja to update Nigerians on the status of Covid 19 Vaccination said the extension is to enable eligible Nigerians to be vaccinated. He stated that so far 2,099,568 Nigerians have been vaccinated with their first doses with 1,005,234 others on their second doses of the Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
