That was the moment the Chairman of the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, Hon Sola Olofin, received an award of excellence.
The honour was bestowed on him at the Southwest Investment Summit and Advancement Award held in Abuja.
Receiving the award, Hon. Olofin appreciated the organisers on behalf of the NSITF board, saying the recognition would further motivate the Fund to intensify efforts toward promoting safer workplaces across Nigeria, ensuring effective utilisation of funds, and driving transformation within the organisation.
Speaking on passion and productivity in the workplace, Olofin urged Nigerian youths to remain proactive and pursue their vision for a better Nigeria.
The NSITF boss also revealed that plans are underway to integrate more players in the informal sector into the Fund, ensuring wider coverage and access to compensation in the event of workplace injuries.
