The National Orientation Agency has called for an improved citizens engagement to communicate government’s policies, programmes and activities. NOA Director General, Garba Abari, who made the call in Abuja at the official Presentation of a Five Year Strategic Plan 2021-2026 for review by Stakeholders and Development Partners said the exercise is necessary to modify the way things are done. Adding that the agency has an elaborate grassroots structure across the country which provides extensive reach to Nigerians. Some stakeholders shared their opinions on the significance of the Strategic Plan review exercise. It is expected that with the review of the five year strategic plan, the National Orientation Agency will wake up from its slumber and rediscover its mandate of pushing government’s policies and plans to the grassroots.
