The Nigerian Military says, it’s Troops has continued to win the battle against insurgency, banditry, illegal-oil bunkering,smuggling among other security challenges in the country. The Successes were recorded in the North East, North west, North Central and south south Zones of the country by diverse operations conducted by the troops. Giving a weekly update on the strides of the military in ensuring peace in the country, the coordinator, Defence Media Operation, Maj. General John Enenche said,kidnapped victims were rescued as the troops neutralized scores of insurgents, recovered large cache of ammunition from criminal elements and 505 rustled cattles. General Enenche also shade more light on other operations embarked by the military across the country. Meanwhile, the Military High Command has commended all the gallant troops of the Armed Forces and personnel of other security agencies involved in various operations across the country for their commitment and professionalism. The High Command however, encouraged troops to remain resolute and decisive in curtailing the activities of terrorists, armed bandits and other criminals across the country.
