The National Stakeholders’ validation workshop on the draft Guidelines for participation in International Expositions is to ensure that Nigeria does not only participate in international exposition but also excel on the global stage in terms of trade and investment opportunities.
The stakeholders forum with representation from the Federal, States and private sector will also adopt a guidelines that will be in tandem with the renew hope eight point agenda of the Tinubu led administration.
Addressing the forum in Abuja, the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Industry Trade and Investment, Evelyn Ngige, represented by the Director Human Resource Department, Mimi Abu said the engagement is to create a robust and effective strategy for Nigeria’s presence at the international exposition.
The Director, Trade and Investment Department, FMITI, Suleman Audu said the draft guidelines when fully operational will boost investors confidence which in turn will led to Foreign Direct Investments into the economy.
Mr. Audu also noted that the engagement will offer the platform to showcase development in trade and investment by re-enforcing partnership among nations for proper integration.
