The Nigerian Government has disclosed plans to partner with the United States of America to further deepen the cooperation and relationship that exists between both countries. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyema who made this known to news men after a close door meeting with the Deputy national security adviser of the US, Jake Sullivan said issues related to the nation’s democracy,defence, health,trade and investment featured prominently at the interface with the delegation The role of the US government in supporting Nigeria to overcome it’s security challenges was also highlighted at the meeting As expected, the difficulties in Obtaining US visa by Nigerians was not left out of the agenda with a possible hope for a review by the US authorities.
