Nigeria is set to host the 2025 West Africa Economic Summit (WAES).
Minister of Foreign Affairs, Amb. Yusuf Tuggar gave the indication at a news conference in Abuja.
He said the summit will bring together leaders, policymakers, and business executives to discuss pressing economic challenges and investment opportunities in the region.
Top among the WAES 2025 objectives the minister stated includes establishing a harmonized trade policy framework, mobilizing resources for critical infrastructure among others.
The Summit slated for June 20-21, 2025, in Abuja will feature side events like Presidential Roundtable, CEO Forum, WAES Deal Room, and West Africa Business Expo.
