Nigeria-Jordan Partner On Agriculture, ICT, Tourism

The Federal Government has promised to leverage on the new established relationship with Jordan in the area of Agriculture, Tourism and ICT for the benefit of Nigerian youth.

The Executive Secretary, Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), Rev Yakubu Pam disclosed this in a statement made available to Channel Network Afrique (CNA).

The NCPC boss at the maiden Prayer Congress at Mount Nebo, Jordan for the 2020 Pilgrimage exercise said the Commission had discovered quite a number of Holy Sites in Jordan and would take the good news back for a sustained relationship with the country.

The Executive Secretary, while expressing his gratitude to the Jordanian authority for the wonderful reception accorded to the Nigerian delegation on arrival said the bilateral relationship between the two countries will also be extended to other areas of interest for the overall benefit of the two parties.

The NCPC helmsman also appreciated the Nigerian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Jordan, Faruk Yabo for making sure that the Pilgrims and members of the delegation are comfortable said development without love , cannot guarantee peace in Nigeria.

The Nigerian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Jordan, Faruk Yabo commended the dynamic and pragmatic leadership of the NCPC boss for making sure that Jordan Pilgrimage became a reality.

He stressed that Jordan had been spectacular in achieving peace and unity as such is an excellent example of peace and unity.

Amb.Yabo who was optimistic that the Christian Pilgrimage operation in Jordan would be sustained intimated that the Nigerian Embassy under his leadership developed a mobile application for Nigerians in Jordan to enhance effective information technology drive.

The President, Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN,His Eminence, Dr Samson Ayokunle affirmed that the spiritual experience of the people cannot cease.

Earlier, four think-tank groups from amongst the Pilgrims was created to provide advisory services and policy direction in the area of Agriculture, tourism,ICT , policy formulation and spirituality.
