New Year Message: APC Assures Nigerians Of Economic Rebound In 2026

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared that the Nigerian economy is on a steady rebound, asserting that the difficult reforms introduced by President Bola Tinubu’s administration have begun to yield visible results.

In a New Year statement issued on January 1, 2026, by the National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the ruling party expressed optimism for the country’s future, describing 2026 as a year for “shared prosperity.”

According to the party, the “transient pains” associated with recent structural reforms are now dissipating.

The APC noted that vital economic indicators currently point toward a resurgent national economy, improved infrastructure delivery, and expanded output in the agricultural and oil sectors.

”Our great Party is delighted that this endurance and sacrificial love of country has begun to bear visible fruits,” the statement read, adding that the administration remains focused on restoring macroeconomic stability and easing microeconomic conditions for citizens.

The APC also used the occasion to pay tribute to the Nigerian security forces.

The party praised the “exceptional patriotism” of troops stationed on the frontlines of the fight against terrorism, banditry, and other violent crimes, acknowledging their role in bolstering national security.

Reaffirming its support for the President’s “Renewed Hope Agenda,” the party stated that it would work harder in 2026 to justify the confidence reposed in it by the electorate.

The statement concluded by calling on Nigerians to remain confident in the nation’s journey toward long-term peace and economic plenty.

The party described itself as the “pan-Nigeria progressive Party of choice” and maintained that President Tinubu remains unyielding in his commitment to the total implementation of his administration’s development goals.
