The National Examinations Council, NECO, has released results of the 2023 Senior School Certificate Examination, SSCE,. Registrar of NECO, Prof Dantani Wushishi made the announcement at a press briefing in Minna, Niger State.
Highlights of the results breakdown indicates that 737,308 candidates scored five credits and above including Mathematics and English.
Also, the Council disclosed plans to sanction 93 schools including over 12,000 candidates for various forms of examination malpractices.
The 2023 SSCE internal was conducted from Monday 10th July to Friday 11th August 2023, while marking exercise commenced from Wednesday 30th August to Friday 15th September 2023.
Over 1.2 million Candidates representing 621,084 males and 584,804 Females. Registered for the Examination.
