NARD Strike: FG,Resident Doctors Resolve Dispute- Mamora

As Nigeria Joins the rest of the world to commemorate the World Health day, the federal government says it has resolved the issues of dispute resulting in the indefinite strike by Resident Doctors. Minister of State for Health, Senator Adeleke Mamora disclosed this at a news conference to commemorate the World Health Day in Abuja. He said the strike won’t have been necessary if the Doctors were patient especially with efforts by government to meet their demands. Meanwhile, the Minister of Health Dr Osagie Ehinare who joined the brief virtually assured of the federal government commitment to provide quality healthcare services in the country. On his part, the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Health, Abdulaziz Abdullahi said the world health observed every April 7 is to draw global attention on the right to good health. The Theme of this year’s World Health Day which is” It’s time to build a fairer healthier world for everyone everywhere”.
