Over thirty-seven point five million naira worth of stolen crude oil has again been recovered by the military in the Niger Delta region.
This was disclosed by the Director, Defence Media Operations, Major General, Markus Kangye at a news conference to update journalists on gains recorded in diverse operations across the country.
He said twenty nine suspected oil thieves, kidnappers, cultists among other criminal elements were arrested.
Major General Kangye also said scores of terrorists and bandits were eliminated in the period under review.
The Director, Defence Media Operations while commending the media for its significant roles in the fight against insecurity said the security situation in the country has greatly improved.
