Addressing Journalist at a peaceful protest in Abuja, the Co-Converner of the Group, Barrister Pereagbe Ekpede stated that the protest became necessary due to the fact that two months after Late Khadijat was gunned down by Armed thugs allegedly in the convoy of the Kogi State Social Democratic Party’s Governorship Candidate, Muritala Ajaka, Justice was yet to be served.

While raising concerns over the uncooperative deposition of the SDP Governorship candidate, Murtala Ajaka to Police investigations on the matter, Barr. Ekpede stated that Justice must be served and the perpetrators irrespective of Political affiliation be prosecuted.

She added that the Laws protecting women must be obeyed as the group will not relent until they secure Justice.
