The general elections have come and gone.
President elect,Muhammadu Buhari will be sworn in on May 29,2019.
As expected,horse trading, lobbying and negotiations are ongoing on who gets what irrespective of political affiliations, zoning among other interests.
The womenfolk are not left out ,as they believe it is time to adhered to the fifty percent affirmative action in the new government to be formed by President Buhari.
Addressing a news conference in Abuja, the convener, Coalition for the inclusion of women in governance,Ebere Ifendi faulted the present arrangement where the womenfolk have been excluded from services and activities that are critical to national development.
The group noted that Nigeria can make its mark among comity of nation’s that are gender compliant if there are more women representation in the next federal executive council and other key positions in governance.
