The independent National Electoral Commission has been commended for creating an enabling environment for persons with disability to exercise their franchise in 2019 general elections. This is as the Commission also deployed braille ballot guide to assist voters with visual impairment to cast their votes unaided in 46% of polling units across the country. Addressing the media in Abuja, Executive Director of Inclusive Friends,Grace Jerry said irrespective of the success recorded in the just concluded poll,a lot still need to be done.
