There is no doubt that the Nigerian Armed Forces have been on its toe to ensure that the act of terrorism, Insurgency, banditry, kidnapping among other heinous crimes become a thing of the past.
This is as they continues to enhance planning and conduct of joint operations through Simulation Excercise to strengthen it’s personnels in the ongoing war.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of a Joint Simulation Excercise for Operation Whirl Punch at the Land Forces Simulation Centre in Abuja, Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor said the Excercise will further strengthen efforts in bridging the gaps hindering the attainment of joint objectives.
Represented by the Director, Training, Defence headquarters, Rear Admiral, Danjuma Moses, the CDS outlined need for effective coordination within the Armed Forces towards fighting insurgency and bringing it to an end.
Gen. Irabor while clearing the air on why some components of the armed forces did not participate in the maiden edition of the simulation programme however, urged participants to bring to bear lessons learnt from the Excercise in the execution of ongoing operations across the country.
Highpoint of the ceremony was the presentation of Certificate to deserving participants as Souvenirs were given to senior officers.
