The National social investment programme was launched by the Nigerian government in 2016 to deliver socio-economic support to the less privilege in the the country.
The scheme divided into components like the national home grown school feeding program,job creation and youth employment initiative known as N- Power and National Cash Transfer project just to mention a few presently have over over 12 million direct beneficiaries.
At a joint press conference on the launch of the third party monitoring report of the national social investment programme in Abuja,the Country Director ActionAid Nigeria Mrs Ene Obi commended the initiative saying it has created a ripple effect in the development of key sectors in the country.
