Nigerians have continue to react to the sudden re-emergence of check points in some parts of the Federal Capital Territory that have intensified the hardship and pains commuters experience daily.
The development which could be attributed to the recent security breach and jailbreak of the Kuje Custodial Centre in Abuja by alleged Members of the Islamic State of West African Province, ISWAP. The attack led to the invaders releasing members of the Boko Haram terrorists and other criminals in detention.
Channel Network Afrique, CNA crew feels the pulse of some Abuja resident on the sudden resurfacing of Military checkpoints in and around the FCT which has become a major source of concern to the people.
They also called on government to adopt technology as obtained in other advanced countries instead of the unwanted pains inflicted on the citizens.
They further urged the government to involve community leaders among other stakeholders in finding lasting solution to the country’s security situation.
