The National Universities Commission is collaborating with the Nigeria Diaspora Biomedical research group to build capacity of local researchers in the country. Speaking ahead of the Inaugural Nigeria Diaspora Biomedical research summit, Deputy Executive secretary of NUC, Dr Suleiman Raman – Yusuf said the partnership which is spear headed by a Nigerian scientist at the University of Florida, USA, prof Folakemi Odedina will also train researchers on grant writing proposals to access funds from research funding agencies globally.
