Bilateral Ties: Three Million Tourists Visit Saint Kitts and Nevis Island Daily

As part of efforts to consolidate the existing bilateral relationship between Nigeria and Saint Kitts and Nevis Island, the two countries Foreign Ministers held a strategic meeting in Abuja to discuss areas of mutual interest and benefits.

The high-level engagement between Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar and that of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Denzil Douglas also revealed deep historical and cultural ties between the most populous African country and the Caribbean Island.

The meeting also revealed that more than three million tourists visit the island daily which underscored the tourism potential of the country.

The high-level engagement came to a close with assurances from both parties to work towards consolidating its agriculture, ICT, medical education, and sustainable energy ties
