The All Progressives Congress, APC has expressed confidence to win the forthcoming coming Governorship election in Ondo State.
The party’s National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje said this in Abuja at the presentation of certificate of return to the Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa after his emergence as the APC flag bearer for the poll.
He said Aiyedatiwa’s victory at the primary election on April 20, was the best thing that happened to the ruling party due to his political career’s progression as well as his touch with the grassroots.
On his part, the Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa promised to carry everyone including other fifteen aspirations that justled for the ticket along for the sole interest of the party.
At an interactive session with the APC Press Corps, Governor Aiyedatiwa said aggrieved party’s have been reconciled by the leadership of the party.
The Ondo State off cycle election is scheduled for November 16 this year.
