A one time Edo State Governorship Aspirant under the All Progressives Congress, Blessing Agbomhere has expressed optimism that the party will zone the position of the National Youth Leader to the South.
The Aspirant who disclosed this at a news Conference in Abuja said despite zoning is not in the party’s constitution, based on the recent arrangement by the APC leadership for the South and North to exchange positions they have been occupying in the past, he is sure that the position he is vying for will go to the South.
He said based on that understanding the South has not indicated interest in positions the north is contesting. He however, assured that if voted as the National Youth Leader, he will use his influence to mobilise millions of youths for the party in the 2023 general elections.
The APC chieftain however, noted that his aspiration was borne out of the desire to lead the party’s youth wing having served in various capacity as a major stakeholder.
