A group under the aegis of Obi-Dient Movement, championing the election of the Presidential Candidate of Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi has expressed confidence that Northerners Will massively vote for former Anambra state Governor and his running mate Dati Baba-Ahmed due to various challenges ravaging the country including insecurity.
This position is contrary to the statement made by the former governor of Kano State, Musa Kwankwaso that the North will not vote for Obi.
Speaking at a world press conference in Abuja, some of the staunch members of the movement noted that Northerners are mobilizing for the Peter Obi presidency on the ground of bad governance by successive governments. Speaking further, the Director of Strategy, Obi-Dient Movement, Adang Azi Adang highlighted criteria that places Peter Obi above other presidential candidates.
The group also advised Nigerians to take advantage of the timeframe to collect their PVCs and vote for credible candidates that will turn around the economic situation of the country.
