2023: APC Governor’s, PCC Unite For Tinubu/Shetimma.

The All Progressive Congress APC has resolved to put aside all differences and work for the success of it’s presidential candidate Ashiwaju Bola Tinubu and his deputy Kassim Shetimma in next year’s presidential elections.

The resolution was arrived at the meeting of the ruling party National Working Committee (NWC), Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) and the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) called at the instance of the National Chairman senator Abdullahi Adamu in Abuja.

Addressing newsmen after the meeting that lasted for about five hours, the National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu said the party leaders along with the governors and the campaign council have established machinery to resolve whatever issues they have.

Adamu who said the meeting also discussed strategies for the party’s campaign programme, failed to disclose the date for commencement of campaigns. Meanwhile, Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) and the Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu on his part said the meeting was part of measures put on place by the party to ensure a hitch free campaign for the 2023 general election.

The progressive Governor’s Forum were represented at the meeting by its chairman and Kebbi State governor, Atiku Bagudu, Rotimi Akeredolu (Ondo), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Abdulahi Ganduje (Kano), Sani Bello (Niger), Bello Matawalle (Zamfara), Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa), Simon Lalong (Plateau) and the deputy governor of Borno State, Umar Kadafur among others.
