Former National Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic party PDP Prof Alkali Rufai has emerged as the National Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party.
Alkali was elected to the position alongside 29 other national executive committee members through Concensus arrangement at the NNPP National Convention held in Abuja.
He said the coming on board of the party offers hope and assurance that Nigeria will be great again. He called on Nigerians to key into the ongoing continuous voters registration process and also collect their permanent voters card as well as participate in the processes that will see the party emerge victorious in the 2023 general elections.
Meanwhile, National Leader of the Party and former Governor of Kano state Rabiu Kwankwoso wants Nigerians especially the youths to register with the party and vote for it’s candidates in the 2023 general elections.
He said the NNPP is bent on correcting the mistakes of the past and take Nigeria into a new beginning of true greatness.
Other members of the NNPP NEC elected at the convention includes AVM John Ifemeje RTD Deputy National Chairman, Dipo Olayoku, National Secretary, Sulieman Hunkuyi National Organising Secretary among others.
