A group of young professionals and business people has purchased expression of interest and nomination forms for former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, to enable him contest the presidential primary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for 2023 Presidential election.
Members of the group who were mostly youths came to the PDP national secretariat in Abuja to purchase the 40 million naira forms and later presented same to Saraki.
Speaking through its leader, Abubakar Danmusa, the group said it arrived at the decision after a deliberate search for a capable Nigerian that can address the interest of Nigerian youths and unify the country.
Responding after receiving the forms from the group, Saraki commended them for the confidence reposed on him promising the youth population a strong representation in his government. Saraki and the former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar are the two presidential Hopefuls that have so far purchased the PDP 40 million naira expression and nomination forms.
