The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, says it will not extend the March 26, 2022 deadline for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, and Direct Entry registration.
Oloyede, who spoke at the Global Distance Learning Institute, Abuja, while monitoring the registration exercise, attributed the position to reasons indicating that the Board is working on a tight schedule.
The jamb boss noted that the closing days of the exercise were experiencing low turnout of registration across the country saying over 1.5 million candidates have so far registered for the UTME.
The JAMB boss however urged prospective candidates to take advantage of the Boards appeal and do the needful. He further revealed that Board is taking steps to address concerns of CBT centres on high cost of diesel and energy challenges across the country.
