Ahead of the Osun State Governorship Election, a Coalition of Civil Society Organizations from the state, has asked president Muhammadu Buhari to call the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola to order over his alleged use of office in causing crisis in the state.
Spokesman of the group and Executive Director, The Osun Masterminds, Wasiu Oyedokun made the call at a Press Conference in Abuja.
He also called on the stakeholders in the party to rein in the Minister to act in ways that promote National unity as his office represents.
Oyedokun accused the minister of turning security agencies under his ministry into tools of political agents.
Comrade Wasiu further alleged that Aregbesola, in the past one week has engaged in a public show of rascality, encouraging his followers to behave in manners that undermine the good intention of Buhari administration in the state.
Aregbesola and the incumbent Osun State governor, Gboyega Oyetola have been in a running battle over the control of the party structure in the state.
