The newly appointed Comptroller of Immigration Service, Bayelsa State, James Sunday has assured of renewed efforts in curbing Immigration related challenges in the riverine state.
Comptroller Sunday in a signed statement by the Command Public Relations Officer Ibeinmo-Cookey Ebitimitula pledged his loyalty to the Federal and State government and assured of a renewed efforts in curbing Immigration related issues ranging from Human and Child Trafficking,Smuggling of Migrants and deliverables for an enhanced Blue Economy with attendant growth of Investment by the locals and Foreign Investor’s.
“Bayelsa State will become the most preferred destination for Investment,Ease of doing Business, Tourism and Hospitality,while keeping safe operation in the waterways by the NIS operatives on land and on the waterways alongside other Security and response agencies in the state” he said
The monthly Security Meeting Chaired by the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, Sen.Douye Diri was the first official engagement of the Comptroller in the state.
