Expectation is high as about 50 million Nigerians await to benefit from a foreign grant facilitated by a Non Governmental Organization under the aegis of Theobarth Global Foundation.
The Country Director of the Foundation, Dr. Theophilus Oluche Ebonyi who disclosed this at a news conference in Nasarawa State said the move is aimed at encouraging Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in order to alleviate the masses’ sufferings.
He said the foundation will work with the Federal Government of Nigeria to ensure that proper procedure is carried out before the commencement of the Grant disbursement.
Dr. Ebonyi also used the occasion to debunk assertion that the Foundation received the sum of 900 trillion naira from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for Grant disbursement.
The Country Director however, advised the would be beneficiaries of the Grant to use it judiciously in order to improve their standard of living and that of their family members.
